When three stacked dots appear, click those, and choose Settings and sharing. In Google Calendar, hover over the calendar name on the left side. Now that you have a new calendar (or you've chosen an existing one), share it by clicking on it and choosing the share option. In Apple Calendar, go to File > New Calendar, and choose the location where you want to save it. In Google Calendar, look in the lower-left corner for Other Calendars and a plus sign. Make a new calendar for your shared events or choose an existing calendar to share. Be aware, however, that everyone you share it with will be able to see everything it contains. If it makes more sense to share a calendar you already have set up, you can certainly do that instead. If you only want to share select events, you should start by making a new calendar and name it Family or Household, and then use it only for the events you want others to see. You can have one for work, one for personal events, and so forth. Every major online calendar, such as Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, lets you create multiple calendars. Most online calendars offer a "share calendar" function. How do you share a to-do list and calendar with others? It's surprisingly easy when you choose the right tools. How do you stay organized with other people in your household or family close by? If one of you is going to the store, is it easy for everyone else to add to the shopping list? If one of you plans time off for a vacation and puts the dates on your calendar, can the others see them? Life is much easier and more organized when you can share your to-do list and calendar with the right people, be it a partner, a relative who relies on you, an adult child, a roommate.
